Lyndon Azcuna – Executive Director
Lyndon and his wife, Julia, have six children and four grandchildren. They met at Wheaton Graduate School in Wheaton, Illinois, where they both earned their master’s degrees. Lyndon has been part of LifePlan since September 2015, but his ministry experience spans back to January 6, 1985. With over 30 years in the non-profit sector, he has developed expertise in ministry building, organizational leadership, and non-profit management. His passion is to witness the transformative power of the gospel of Jesus Christ in addressing people’s deepest hurts and struggles. Lyndon and his family are active members of Redeemer Church in Niles, Michigan.

What is your favorite part about your role at LifePlan?
Primarily that I see God’s work in ways that are unmistakably beyond my own efforts. I also appreciate the variety and strategic nature of my role, as well as the people I have the privilege of working with and connecting with.
What is your favorite pastime?
Being with family, reading, woodworking, and watching the Chicago Bears

What is a fun fact about you?
I love to laugh hard (even at myself), have gone skydiving, and am a diehard Chicago Bears fan who drinks plenty of orange Kool-Aid!
Tell us about your pets.
We have a mini Goldendoodle named Taffy—cute as a teddy bear on the outside, but on the inside, she’s Cruella de Vil!
Do you prefer coffee or tea?
I have coffee, but just one cup in the morning.
For what do you want to be remembered?
Someone who sought after God and found Him.
